Antique Japanese Buddhist Temple Ceiling Painting with Reeds and Flowers

Hand painted wooden Buddhist temple ceiling panel with water hyacinth (ホテイアオイ浮草) and reeds. 

Front: Yoshikawa Kunkei / 吉川君渓 (1800-1884). He was son of Yoshikawa Ikei / 吉川一渓 (1763-1837).

Back: Donated by Chikasa Kerosene distributor - Mr Totani Heizaemon.
